The location, the staff very extremely friendly and helpful, our room was excellent (spacious, clean and comfortable). We were very happy with all aspects of our stay including the continental breakfast
Hotel was perfectly situated, right in the city centre (30 seconds from the old place and 10 minutes by foot from Charles Bridge). Rooms were ok and nice, breakfast was really good (lots of fresh products), staff was helpful. Taxi service provided by the hotel was perfect too. Very good hotel and trip for us in general. We'll go again in same hotel if we go back to Praha !! (Even that we had a very little problem with the payment at the hotel, they refunded us without any problem and fast). You have to choose this hotel if you go to Praha.
Stairs (because we we're tired of visiting all day, lol !) ;))))
Great location and friendly staff.
When we arrived, they had rented our attic room to another family. They were kind enough to put my family in two other rooms for the first night but with no bellman and mutiple flights of stairs, moving is a pain. I was prepared for this--but didn't plan on doing it twice. They also made a point of saying that it was because I had changed the reservation. Read; "my fault, not theirs..." They also said that there are problems in working with Bookings.com--because updates hey offered no discount upon check out. Food is mediocre.
Great position of hotel, stuff is really nice. It is near to astronomical clock and you could walk to all the places you need to see in Prague. I recomand this hotel.
The bedrooms were really lovely, modern and comfortable within a very beautiful old building. The hotel was so very convenient to getting around. We were able to walk to all the sights we were interested in.
I'm afraid the entrance to the hotel is rather dated and tired looking. Also one of the things that was annoying was that there was no shampoo sachets in the bathrooms. Shampoo could be bought in the reception which was a little tacky. No lift in this hotel
I loved the room thought it was lovely, very comfortable and spacious. Also the hotel is very central to close to the square and charles bridge.
If anything was the stairs really but i would stay here again.
The ideal location - just round the corner from the Old Town Square and at the most quiet corner at that, as the main tourist path is circumventing the block on the other side.
The arrangement of the bath tub in the superior double room (# 1). Sort of carved into the wall in such a way that you are forced to take a bath in the embryonic position. Was fun for me, but can be a real problem for elderly or heavyset persons.
The location and the services provided, free videos, free internet access.
There was no elevator and there were 50 steps up to our room on the second floor, with no porter to help with the cases. The nearest parking was a good distance away and very expensive.
Location!!! The young female staff persons were so polite and helpful.
Yes!! I borrowed a laptop computer and while I was using it , it blacked out. I could not get it to respond. I could not sign out. Five days later someone opened this computer and sent very nasty messages to several of my friends on my email account. Please do not loan laptops!!
Excelent location. Historical Prague at your fingertips. Clean rooms.
Not suitable for older people (lots of stairs no elevator) too expensive for students. Staff little ambivalent, especially at breakfeast. (We were asked to leave the breakfeast area to make room for others while several tables wer covered by dirty dishes). Some remnants of the old komunist era still lingering on.
Brilliant location directly at Altstädter Ring; we got a big and comfortable room for the three of us with a really huge bathroom (including bathtub and shower); everything looked very clean;
Breakfast room is very small; we originally booked the attic room, but only were only given - as we were 3 not 4 persons - a three-bed room on the first floor (for the same price indeed); moreover anybody could have told that visa payment requieres an extra charge of € 25,00; we were told that Booked.net guaranteed prices are only valid if paid in cash (in euros);
Location and that is what they trade on. Good Internet connection in lobby.
First staff person not pleasant. Improved on other days. Price is way too high for this hotel and its minimal services. Certainly not a 3 star hotel. Very misleading. I travel a lot to prague so can compare well. Breakfast was boring...same each day. Only hot food of hot dogs really not acceptable for hotel in center of international city....at least offer boiled eggs! We had six rooms ...beds with slatted bases were fine. Beds with spring bottom mattresses terrible. Bathroom amenities poor...small plastic packets of shower gel. No shampoo. This is not a hostel...that would be ok if hotel was a cheap hostel. Finally...the one room we had on the 2nd floor of the annex should be half price or not rented. Ridiculous large aluminium tube in bedroom to vent a free standing unit of some sort. Heater or A/C...not clear. No outside window or view...window looks into added bathroom.. Altogether a disgrace. We should get a refund ! (We were hosting the person in that room and she was too polite to let us know what it was like). Please share these comments with the hotel. No lift should be made very clear....NO Porter to carry bags up many flights.
I loved its prime location, a block from the historic Old Plaza. The hotel is located in a building erected in 1407, historically called "The Green Frog" and right next to the place where Frank Kafta was born. We would go to the plaza even at midnight and always had a strong sense of security. The bathroom is modern, the bed comfortable, and the heating system in perfect working condition!
The creeky floor in our room, more than a point of dislike, was a gentle reminder that we were staying in a 700-year old place... I certainly would stay there again. Besides, we spent very little time in the room, anyway.
This hotel is located right behind the Astronomical clock in the Old city. Great location. If you plan to stay in the bigger rooms, like the suites, be ready to carry your bags up a few flight of stairs. Hot water cooker was available in the room. Wifi connection was excellent even in the attic level.
Excellent location but not a good choice for older people. Although we advised the hotel we were unable to cope with too many stairs our allocated room was up 50 stairs and no assistance was available with our big suitcases. The breakfast provided was fine and the room warm and clean but very sparsely equipped with old creaky furniture. Although the building was old and quaint the carpets and fittings were grubby and needed renewing. The staff, with one delightful exception, was surly and monosyllabic.
